Engineering range, labeled honestly
Every project below carries one label: Client delivery, Founder venture, or Private/R&D. Only Client delivery implies a client outcome — the rest is real, tested work the founder has personally shipped, shown as what it actually is, not dressed up as agency output.
Client delivery
Migrate2WestReact
An immigration/visa consultancy platform, built full-stack. The one FirstEmber engagement we can name publicly today — every other client relationship is either under a confidentiality agreement or simply not yet cleared to discuss, so we don’t pad this list with vague “and others” language. The build covered the public-facing site, the consultancy’s internal workflow around it, and the ongoing technical relationship that comes with being the team who actually shipped it, not just handed over a template.
Founder venture
Built and owned by FirstEmber’s founder, outside of client engagements. Real, working, and clearly not agency client work — this is what demonstrates range when the client portfolio is still short.
ROTOR
A drone compatibility platform — matching components, firmware, and build configurations against a real compatibility database rather than relying on forum folklore. Working build, not a prototype.
Cinder
A semantic runtime for a private startup, with a live voice-driven demo built on the Web Speech API. Demonstrates real-time system design beyond typical CRUD work.
Relict
A local-first, read-only index of the founder’s own tools, scripts, and projects — full-text search over SQLite plus a force-directed graph dashboard for visually exploring how everything connects. Built to answer “do I already have something for this?” before building it again.
FloppyRogue
A complete game engine built to fit inside 1.44MB for a size-constrained contest entry. Our clearest specialist-lane evidence: real low-level engineering discipline under a hard constraint, not a hobby sketch.
Private / R&D
Internal tools, not public products — shown for engineering range, not as case studies. No GitHub link on these yet since they were never built for outside use.
Campfire / Pjira
An internal ticketing system built to fit how the founder’s own projects actually get tracked, rather than bending workflow to fit an off-the-shelf tool.
website-auditor
A CLI that runs real SEO, accessibility, performance, and security audits against a live site — the same category of tool informing how this studio thinks about its own technical-SEO checklist.
EmailTracker
A privacy-conscious email open/engagement tracker, built to avoid the creepier defaults of typical tracking-pixel services.
